(Construction) – In the implementation of the plan developing the Law on Housing (amended) and Law on Real Estate Business (amended) to submit to the National Assembly for the first opinion at the May 2023 meeting, on October 7 in Da Nang, the Ministry of Construction held a workshop to gather comments on 02 drafts of these Laws.

Speaking at the workshop, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh noted that the Law on Housing and the Law on Real Estate Business created a legal corridor, promoting the development of the real estate market and housing in the past time. In the process of implementation, in addition to the past contributions, nearly 10 past years into practice, the Laws have revealed inadequacies, limitations, and overlaps with related laws.
In the spirit of the desire to hear from the reality of the participants so that the Ministry of Construction can continue to complete it better to submit to the National Assembly for approval in the 6th session held in October 2023, ensuring the uniformity and consistency of relevant laws, thereby creating a legal corridor for the healthy development of the real estate market, creating a housing fund for people. Therefore, the workshop was necessary.
The Law on Housing (amended) and the Law on Real Estate Business (amended) have great impacts on society and the people and on the socio-economic development of the whole country. Therefore, the workshop wished to listen directly to the opinions of local experts on these 2 Laws. For the group of businesses directly related to these 2 Laws, it was hoped that the enterprises would have comments on whether the implementation of the policies is clear, the administrative procedures have been resolved or not, the bottlenecks and so on.
