(Construction) - On October 21, Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Hong Minh led a delegation to inspect a number of technical, traffic and industrial infrastructure construction sites in Ho Chi Minh City.

Deputy Minister Bui Hong Minh has a general assessment of construction sites which have strictly complied with the regulations on medical guidelines, from the stage of testing, epidemic control as well as the strict implementation of instructions to ensure safety against the Covid-19 epidemic. The Deputy Minister also commented on difficulties in investment procedures in the context of Covid-19 epidemic; difficulties to mobilize construction workers back to construction sites; risks of disputes over construction contracts and so on.
Along with investors and contractors to accelerate disbursement of public investment capital, progress of works, and economic recovery, the Ministry of Construction will have effective solutions to work with them to get the set objectives. The Ministry of Construction will focus on analyzing and evaluating timely amendments, or consulting with competent agencies to adjust and issue existing policies to remove effectively the difficulties and obstacles for efficiency investment”.
