(Construction) - Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha signed the Decision No. 58 / QD-BXD dated January 20, 2020 on the Action Program of the Construction industry.

The major targets for 2020 construction industry are as follows: The growth rate of construction production value is about 9-10%, the rate of urbanization reaches about 40%, the proportion of urban people supplied with clean water through a centralized water supply system reaches about 90%, the rate of loss of clean water collection is reduced to 18% for urban areas of grade IV or higher, the rate of collection and treatment of urban daily-life solid waste is around 87%, the average area of houses nationwide reaches about 24 m2 of floor / person, cement product output of about 103 million tons.
The construction industry continues to build and complete the legal system, the system of management tools, strictly control the budget estimates, promote the economic structure associated with the model of growth and efficient use of resources, improving the quality of human resources, promoting the development of social houses, improving the efficiency of State management and foreign affairs, improving scores and maintain the ranking of construction licensing index, substantially reform regulations on business conditions, promoting cash-free payments and providing 4th level online public service.
