(Construction) – From July 3 to 5, the delegation of the Ministry of Construction, led by Deputy Minister Bui Xuan Dung, attended the ASEAN-China Ministerial Round Table on Construction and Housing 2024 (ACMROCH) held in Malaysia.
On behalf of the delegation of the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam, Deputy Minister Bui Xuan Dung delivered a speech on the topic “Developing Climate-Resilient Cities Through Practical Actions at the Local Level.”

During the discussion session, Deputy Minister Bui Xuan Dung emphasized the need for "connection" and "sharing." He explained that "connection" involves establishing and maintaining relationships for mutual development, fostering interaction and cooperation among countries in the region, between cities within the region, and within countries. Meanwhile, "sharing" entails discussing and sharing practical experiences to overcome difficulties and challenges.
Deputy Minister Bui Xuan Dung expressed his belief that the sharing and connection between ASEAN member countries, in general, and between ASEAN and China, in particular, will contribute to building a close partnership in the construction sector.
Within the framework of the working program, the delegation of the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam had a working session with Mr. Datuk Azman, Deputy Minister of Housing and Local Government of Malaysia. They also exchanged with construction enterprises in Malaysia to learn about the management, development of urban areas, housing, and technical infrastructure in Malaysia.
