(Construction) - Japanese developer Tokyo Gas Real Estate will launch a large-scale development project in Shin Toyosu, Koto-ku, Tokyo after 2025.
The project is expected to be a "recycling-oriented city of the future" with virtually zero greenhouse gas emissions, including carbon dioxide. The company plans to build candidate sites in three areas it owns, with the aim of opening the city around 2030.

The "recycling-oriented city of the future" is one of the initiatives in the Tokyo Gas Group's medium-term management plan. The developer is currently studying the feasibility of the project on its own land in Shin Toyosu. The area of the site is undisclosed, and the use and scale of the facilities will be determined in the future. The project is expected to be completed in approximately 30 years. (2023/05/24)
