(Construction) - On November 23, the Ministry of Construction organized a conference to appraise the tasks adjusting the General Planning of Nhon Trach new urban area, Dong Nai province until 2045. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van chaired the conference.
At the conference, the consulting unit presented a summary report on the project adjusting the General Planning of Nhon Trach New Urban Area, Dong Nai Province until 2045.

Basically, the members of the Appraisal Council strongly agreed with the contents of the task adjusting the General Planning of Nhon Trach new urban area, Dong Nai province until 2045. However, the members also contributed some additional ideas. These ideas are to help the consulting unit and locality to supplement and complete the project.
On behalf of the leaders of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, Acting Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc emphased that, Provincial units and the consulting unit would continue to research and clarify based on members' suggestions of the Appraisal Council. Dong Nai province will actively coordinate with consultants to complete the contents of the project.
In conclusion of the Conference, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van proposed that the locality should supplement the national new rural orientation strategy; review plans for population calculation; review implemented projects and clarify the legality of project in the area.
The province should review the uniformity and consistency in the planning process to ensure project implementation; review urban development dynamics; unify population calculation principles; assess and analyse transportation systems; determine the driving force and urban characteristics to attract human resources...
Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van requested the People's Committee of Dong Nai province to direct the consulting unit to fully acquire the comments of the Council members, and soon complete the document to submit to the Prime Minister for approval.
