(Construction) - In November 12th, at the Ministry of Construction, the Director of the Urban Development Agency Nguyen Tuong Van presided over the appraisal meeting to recognize the town of Hat Lot, Mai Son district, Son La province as grade IV.

Hat Lot has an advantageous geographic location, about 30km from Son La town, 280km from Ha Noi, with Highway No.6 - a vital artery connecting Hanoi with the Northwestern provinces. It also connects with Ta Hoc port and Na San airport. Regarding technical infrastructure, recently, the demand for housing construction as well as the demand for investment in public works and social welfare in the area are increasing. This gradually formed Hat Lot town with spacious and modern urban appearance.
Urban renovation is paid attention. Trees, lawns in the stripes are cared for, pruned regularly, each year replanting and upgrading according to requirements, techniques. In 2017, in the area of Hat Lot town, there is a flower garden to be put into operation to serve the entertainment needs of the people.

Due to the low rate of urban green trees, the government and people will have to invest more to improve their quality of life. Finally, the council voted and agreed to recognize Hat Lot town as a grade IV city.
