(Construction) - Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Abdelhamid Boubazine, on April 23rd to farewell as the ambassador's term in Vietnam came to an end.

Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi congratulated Ambassador Abdelhamid Boubazine on successfully completing his tenure in Vietnam. Additionally, he extended congratulations to the ambassador for being honored with the Medal "For Peace and Friendship among Nations" by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations.
Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi stated, "The Ambassador has consistently supported and strengthened the cooperative relationship between the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam and Algerian partners. He has made significant contributions, alongside the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam, in successfully organizing the 12th Meeting of the Vietnam-Algeria Intergovernmental Committee, thereby enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries."
Minister expressed his hope that after the conclusion of his term, regardless of his future position, the Ambassador will continue to collaborate with the Ministry of Construction, various departments, ministries, branches, and Vietnamese businesses, and assist in promoting Vietnamese goodwill to the Algerian people.
Ambassador Abdelhamid Boubazine expressed his deep appreciation for the friendship and cooperation between the two peoples and gratefully acknowledged the genuine sentiments as well as the timely support and coordination provided by Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi, the Ministry of Construction, and the Department of International Cooperation throughout his tenure.
The Ambassador is confident that the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Algeria will continue to flourish, yielding positive outcomes in the near future. He emphasized the importance of both sides diligently implementing the resolutions of the 12th Session of the Vietnam-Algeria Intergovernmental Committee and actively facilitating the signing of documents to further enhance bilateral cooperation.
Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi concurred with Ambassador Abdelhamid Boubazine's perspective and underscored that the Ministry of Construction, in line with its responsibilities, will promptly execute this task.
Simultaneously, he expressed his hope that the Ambassador would engage in discussions with his successor and that the Algerian Embassy would persist in supporting and aiding the Vietnamese side in fostering cooperation in the future, particularly within the framework of the Vietnam-Algeria Intergovernmental Committee.
