This is the first time in Japan that multiple urban redevelopment projects are working together to build an integrated bus terminal. Minister Saito spoke highly of the project, saying, "This project will play a central role in creating a large network that will spread across the country and have an impact on other areas in Japan.” He expressed his intention to continue to provide financial support toward the overall opening of the terminal, which is scheduled for FY2028.

As part of the redevelopment project underway in front of the Yaesu Exit of Tokyo Station, the Urban Renaissance Agency is constructing a large-scale bus terminal in the underground space. The first phase was built in the first and second basement floors of Mitsui Fudosan's Tokyo Midtown Yaesu complex. In the coming time, a total of 28 berths (boarding spots) will be constructed in cooperation with the redevelopment projects in the area. (2022/10/12)
