(Construction) - The Ministry of Construction has just issued official document No. 2937 / BXD-QLN, signed by Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh to localities, in order to rectify households and individuals who are self-carrying out individual houses do not comply with the provisions of construction law.

The Ministry of Construction requested the People's Committees of the provinces and cities directly under the Central Government to urgently direct the Department of Construction to coordinate with the local functional agencies in implementing the following specific contents:

- Increasing the dissemination and propagation of the provisions of the 2014 Construction Law, Decree No. 59/2015 / ND-CP, Decree No. 46/2015 / ND-CP, Decree No. 139/2017 / ND- CP, Circular No. 15/2016 / TT-BXD, Circular No. 03/2018 / TT-BXD.

- Guiding, directing and pushing local functional agencies and relevant organizations and individuals in the locality to strictly comply with the provisions of law in development permits, construction quality management of individual houses.

- Strengthening inspection and examination to detect and strictly handle violations of the law on construction.

- Solving proactively problems, complaints and disputes arising in the process of implementing the regulations on planning, construction permits and managing the quality of above-mentioned houses.

- For contents that need to be researched, amended and supplemented to suit the actual situation, localities should synthesize and report to the Ministry of Construction for consideration of amendments and supplements according to its competence or subject to propose competent agencies to study, amend and supplement.
