(Construction) - On May 18, at the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung had a meeting with General Director of Samsung Vietnam Choi Joo Ho, along with the company's leadership team.

At the reception, Samsung Vietnam General Director Choi Joo Ho informed to Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung about Samsung's business situation as well as the construction progress of the R&D Center project in Hanoi. Mr. Choi Joo Ho expressed his wish to receive the close support and direction from the Ministry of Construction so that by the end of June 2022, the company will have acceptance for phase 2. Right after that, Samsung will approve on fire prevention and fighting, submit the acceptance documents for the whole project and receive approval for acceptance by the end of October 2022.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung highly appreciated the results of Samsung's production and business activities in Vietnam in 2021. Despite the impact of the epidemic, Samsung still ensured revenue and export turnover.
For the R&D Center project, Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung requested that Samsung should coordinate with the State Agency for Construction Quality Inspection to complete the procedures. At the same time, the Deputy Minister confirmed that the Ministry of Construction will continue to support Samsung to implement other projects in Vietnam in the near future.
