(Construction) - On October 23, at the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Xuan Dung had a working section with the delegation of the Danish Pandora Group.

|A view of the meeting
Recently, The Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company Limited (VSIP) signed an investment cooperation agreement to build a jewelry factory in VSIP III Industrial Park (Tan Uyen town, Binh Duong). Accordingly, the Pandora Group will build the project with a total investment of about USD 100 millions.
According to Mr. Nicolai Prytz, this is the second largest Danish project invested in Binh Duong recently. Previously, in early 2022, the LEGO Group invested in a USD 1 billion factory in Binh Duong. “Binh Duong is an area with a favorable investment environment; has strengths in infrastructure, located near the airport and seaport; concentrated a source of highly skilled manual labor and especially having the support from the local government" - Mr. Nicolai Prytz commented.
Mr. Michael Zinck Jensen hoped that the Ministry of Construction and its units would support procedures and license documents so that the Group can quickly implement the project as soon as possible.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Bui Xuan Dung noted that: The Ministry of Construction always supports and creates favorable conditions for foreign businesses to invest in Vietnam, and highly appreciates the investment project to expand Pandora production in Binh Duong province. It will be together with localities to implement the goals of socio-economic and sustainable developments.
Regarding to the problems that the Group facing, Deputy Minister Bui Xuan Dung commented, in principle, investors should comply with current legal regulations to soon receive construction permits.
Deputy Minister Bui Xuan Dung emphasized: In the coming time, the Ministry of Construction would continue to accompany and support the Group with the remain procedures. The Construction Operations Management Department will coordinate with the Group to complete documents on related procedures for getting construction permits.
In addition, the Ministry of Construction will participate in providing maximum support to Danish businesses, strongly promote the cooperative relationship between the Government of Vietnam and Denmark as well as businesses of the two countries.
