(Construction) - On the morning of June 4, in Kon Plong district, a working delegation from the Ministry of Construction and other ministries and branches, led by Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van, held a working session with the People's Committee of Kon Tum province.
The meeting session focused on surveying and assessing the actual area for the construction planning of the Mang Den Tourist Area in Kon Plong district until 2045.

After two days of field survey according to the General Planning Task for the construction of Mang Den Tourist Area, which was approved by the Prime Minister, representatives from the central ministries, branches, and the province analyzed and assessed the current status and orientation of land use, population, urban and rural areas, tourism services, natural landscapes, and technical infrastructure of the Mang Den Tourist Area. They also presented the vision and development strategy for the Mang Den Tourist Area until 2045.
Leaders of the central ministries, branches, and Kon Tum province have oriented the planning of the Mang Den Tourist Area to develop along the lines of "Two development corridors - Three centers - Four urban areas." The aim is to transform Mang Den into a national and international tourism, resort, and cultural center with a modern and synchronized system of social and technical infrastructure, diverse and high-quality tourism products, strong branding, and the ability to compete with other countries in the region.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Sam emphasized the need to establish a plan that provides a legal basis for the management and development of the Mang Den Tourist Area. The plan aims to make Mang Den an attractive destination in the province, featuring typical tourism products associated with natural landscapes, biodiversity, and traditional culture. This will contribute to improving the quality of life for people in the region. Kon Tum province will actively coordinate with the consulting unit to complete the planning content.
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van agreed with the proposals and comments on the master plan for the Mang Den Tourist Area provided by the ministries and branches. He requested that the People's Committee of Kon Tum province and the consulting unit study and fully incorporate these suggestions. The Deputy Minister suggested supplementing and adjusting the content to align with the provincial planning and related plans approved by competent authorities. He also emphasized the need to coordinate with relevant ministries and branches to promptly complete the dossier for submission to the Appraisal Council, and subsequently to the Prime Minister for consideration and approval.
