Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van meets Austrian Ambassador in Vietnam

(Construction) - On April 6, at the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van had a meeting with Austrian Ambassador Hans-Peter Glanzer in Vietnam.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van noted that “The Ministry of Construction is an agency of the Government, performing the function of State management on construction planning, architecture, construction investment, urban development, technical infrastructure, housing, offices, real estate market, building materials and public services as prescribed by law. The Ministry of Construction has always contributed to promoting the cooperation between the two countries Vietnam – Austria”.

Austrian Ambassador Hans-Peter Glanzer expressed his delight at the new development of relations between the two countries, especially in economic and trade relations. In the coming time, Austria wishes to promote cooperation with Vietnam, especially with the Ministry of Construction in many areas such as investment in smart city development, transportation, environmental protection projects…

The Ambassador hoped that the leader of the Ministry attending and giving a speech at the Vietnam - Austria Business Forum with the theme "Building smart and flexible infrastructure" organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the Austrian Embassy in Vietnam in Hanoi.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van agreed that the organization of the Vietnam - Austria Business Forum would contribute to promote economic, trade and investment cooperation and connect businesses of the two countries in general and enterprises in the field of construction in particular. The fact that the Ministry of Construction will give a speech at the Forum that can be an opportunity to introduce the Ministry's orientations in the field of state management on the urban technical infrastructure...

The Deputy Minister also noted that leaders of the Ministry of Construction will prepare the presentation, reports and try to arrange time attending the Forum.
