(Construction) - On the morning of May 22nd in Hanoi, the Ministry of Construction held a conference to collect comments to amend some contents in the Government's Decree No. 100/2015/ND-CP on Social housing development and management. Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh chaired the conference.

In addition to conducting study on amending and supplementing the Housing Law, in implementation of the Government's direction in Resolution No. 41/NQ-CP, the Ministry of Construction is taking steps in accordance with the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents No. 80/2015/QH13 dated June 22, 2015 of the National Assembly; drafting a revised outline and is in the process of drafting a report of amendment and supplement.
The conference discussed to the comments and suggestions of construction amendments and supplements to some contents of Decree No. 100/2015/ND-CP from representatives of the Department of Construction of some provinces/cities directly under the Central Government; representatives of a number of enterprises investing in social housing construction; The State Bank, Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, etc., regarding solutions to remove limitations and basic obstacles on concessional capital, land fund, reduce administrative procedures, and order of investment procedures, house price and so on.
The Ministry of Construction received comments and suggestions at the conference and will continue consulting ministries, branches, localities and enterprises on the above issues to build the most appropriate mechanisms and policies while the Housing Law has not been amended, in order to simplify administrative procedures and create favorable conditions.
