(Construction) – Recently, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Construction held a conference to appraise the tasks adjusting the master plan of extended Bac Giang city to 2045. Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van, Chairman of the appraisal council.
At the conference, the representative of Eco Architecture, Planning and Construction Joint Stock Company - the consultancy unit presented a summary report explaining the tasks to the council. Accordingly, the report stated the reasons and the need to adjust the extended Bac Giang city master plan to 2045, emphasizing the important role and position of Bac Giang city.

The members of the appraisal council had commented to propose the consultancy unit to edit and improve the quality of the report related to many aspects such as planning, architecture, technical infrastructure, industry, commerce, resources, traffic, investment, environment, defense, security.
The appraisal council had agreed to change the name of the tasks adjusting the master plan of extended Bac Giang city to 2045 into the tasks of general planning of Bac Giang city until 2045, ensuring the best response to the requirements of the practical need.
Concluding the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van emphasized the important role and position of Bac Giang urban area and agreed with the reason and the need to establish the Bac Giang general master plan until 2045.
In order to complete the tasks report, Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van suggested that the People's Committee of Bac Giang province, the consultancy unit should consider and fully get the comments of the members of the appraisal council, focuse on supplementing planning objectives, especially the arrangement of administrative units; define the nature and clarifying the role of Bac Giang urban area. At the same time, the People's Committee of Bac Giang province should guide the consultancy unit to soon complete the explanatory report and the tasks profile, so that the People's Committee of Bac Giang Province would submit to the Prime Minister for consideration according to regulations.
