(Construction) - On May 7, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van chaired the conference to appraise the general planning scheme of Mau Son National Tourist Area, Lang Son province, till 2040.

The Appraisal Council highly appreciated the quality of the Project, ensuring the legal regulations of the Prime Minister and relevant with comments of ministries and branches. The plan has clear data, documents and maps. However, the experts still contribute some more ideas to the People's Committee of Lang Son province and the consulting unit to complete the project better. To avoid the lack of identity, comprehensive data aggregation, offering compelling development strategic vision, five strategies covered the tasks which need to be rearranged. The population growth should not be too high in the area.
Conclusion of the Appraisal Conference, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van affirmed that this is a very important national project. Therefore, the Deputy Minister suggested the consulting unit and the People's Committee of Lang Son Province should review and clarify the current status of Mau Son National Tourism Area, especially data on land, population size, number of tourism and accommodation facilities.
The Deputy Minister also noted that the locality must pay attention to specific spatial orientation for each region, developing transport infrastructure to connect Mau Son National Tourism Area to other areas in Lang Son province as well as the Northern Midland and Mountain provinces. Finally, the Deputy Minister requested the locality to set specific and reasonable development goals and roadmaps to complete the Master Plan and submit it to the Prime Minister for approval.
