(Construction) - On December 30th, Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha and Cuban Foreign Trade and Investment Minister Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz co-chaired the 38th plenary session of the Intergovernmental Committee Vietnam - Cuba, in the form of direct and online combined.

At the meeting, the two sides jointly evaluated the implementation of the 37th Meeting Minutes and agreed on cooperation results achieved in 2020 and set up cooperation directions and contents in 2021.
The two ministers shared that: The year 2020 has a special meaning when Vietnam and Cuba together celebrate the 60th anniversary of the official establishment of diplomatic relations, an important milestone in the history of friendship, solidarity and cooperation.
At the event, the two sides agreed on the priority contents and areas to promote cooperation in 2021. The two sides actively negotiate agreements on debt restructuring of Cuban enterprises with Vietnamese partners to ensure to expand trade relations and maintain rice supply to Cuba.
At the meeting, the two ministers signed the Vietnam - Cuba medium term bilateral economic agenda for the period 2020 - 2025 and Minutes of the 38th session of Vietnam - Cuba.
