(Construction) - On December 14, the Vietnam Construction Trade Union (Construction Union) had a meeting with Leaders of the Ministry of Construction to report and evaluate some implementation results of the coordination regulation on construction projects between the Ministry of Construction and the Vietnam Construction Trade Union.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi highly appreciated the achieved results and emphasized: In 2021, Vietnam Construction Trade Union has been very active and proactive to have very comprehensive results and innovation in operating methods suitable to the new situations.
Regarding the implementation of the Coordination Regulation in the past year, despite being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the two organizations have actively and proactively performed their functions and duties in accordance with the provisions of the law and the set regulations.

Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi agreed with the contents of the 2022 plan between the two sides. In which, it is proposed to focus on activities to take care of employees, especially workers with difficult circumstances; social security; well perform the tasks of taking care of and protecting the lawful and legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees; disease prevention and control; well perform the propaganda, aspirations and motivations in order to stabilize the thoughts of union members and employees during the period of rearrangement and so on.
