(Construction) - On March 28, the Ministry of Construction held a conference on "Exchanging difficulties and obstacles in cost management and construction contracts for projects using state capital and solutions for removal of difficulties and obstacles" in the form of online and offline.

At the conference, representatives of ministries, branches, localities, associations and investors reflected on practical difficulties and problems as well as proposed some solutions and requested the Ministry of Construction to guide and handle the arised issues. The comments focused on several groups of content.
Summarizing the comments, Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Hong Minh noted that the Ministry of Construction is ready to listen and review to the recommendations of ministries, branches, localities, associations, Project management board, investors, contractors on the above issues. On that basis, the ministry will classify issues, as well as clarify responsibilities and authorities of ministries, branches and localities. Since then, ministries, branches and localities will handle the issues.
Under the authorities, the Deputy Minister guided representatives of units under the Ministry to directly answer some related contents, the Deputy Minister requested its units to review and advise the Ministry for relevant solutions.

The Ministry of Transport proactively reviewed and soon issued 32 missing norms. Based on the reviews, the issues under the authority of the ministries and localities, the Ministry of Construction will summarize, report to the Government, the Prime Minister and propose possible solutions.
Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi pledged that the Ministry of Construction would always ask for advice and listen, and together with relevant ministries, branches and localities to urgently remove difficulties and obstacles in the management of construction investment costs, contributing to effectively implement the guidelines and policies of the Party, National Assembly and Government.
