Ministry of Construction ready to support Danang to build field hospital

(Constructing) - Facing an increasingly complicated disease situation in Da Nang city, the Ministry of Construction sent the Department of Construction and Da Nang City to draft a Technical Document on construction of a field hospital. At the same time, the Ministry of Construction is always ready to support Da Nang City in the process of building a field hospital to combat Covid-19.

At the regular meeting on July 30, the Standing Committee of Da Nang City Party Committee asked the City's Party Committee to speed up the progress and urgently build a field hospital at Tien Son Sports Palace.

Previously, the Ministry of Construction was assigned by the Prime Minister to coordinate with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Defense to prepare a technical document guiding the construction of a field hospital for infectious disease prevention and fighting. Up to now, the draft Technical Guidance Document for construction of field hospital has been completed after consulting the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Defense and related experts, organizations and professional associations.

Accordingly, the Technical Manual for construction of a field hospital consists of two parts: Part I - Applied when new construction on bare ground; Part II - Applying when taking advantage of and improving existing works. The Ministry of Construction is continuing to finalize this document and issue it in the near future.
