(Construction) – On August 21, at the Ministry of Construction, Special Task Force on the Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control had an online meeting with the Agency for Southern Affairs to implement emergency tasks.

At the meeting, Mr. Hoang Hai - Director of the Agency for Southern Affairs, Standing Deputy of the Working Group reported to update the situation in Ho Chi Minh City and southern provinces to the Working Group of the Ministry of Construction. After listening to the reports, Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung directed the members to immediately perform a number of key tasks, including:
It is necessary to urgently complete additional documents to guide the construction of field hospitals and concentrated isolation areas according to new models in the treatment of Covid-19 patients and send them to localities for timely implementation; Prepare reports to the Prime Minister's Special Working Group on Covid-19 prevention and control on the response to cremation services in localities and solutions to build additional crematoriums in complicated developments of the epidemic; propose to the Government solutions to remove obstacles in the law on investment in construction of field hospitals and concentrated isolation areas for the prevention of infectious diseases and epidemic according to the Order on construction of urgent works; and so on.
At the end of the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung requested the working group to urgently perform the assigned tasks with the highest sense of responsibility to support and remove difficulties for the heavily affected localities by the epidemic.
