Ministry of Construction announces result for master urban planning-architecture concept in West of Ho Tay area

(Construction) - On October 8, the Ministry of Construction held a ceremony to announce and award results for master urban planning-architecture concept for head office area of ministries and central agencies in the West of Ho Tay area. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh attended at the ceremony.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh awarded Grade A to Nikken Sekkei Ltd and CDC

The join venture of Nikken Sekkei Ltd and Vietnam Construction Design and Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company (CDC) achieved Grade A; The join venture of design consultancy consortium SDHH (Studio Milou Singapore Pte. Ltd - DP Architects Pte Ltd - Hanoi Urban Planning Institute - Hanoi Architectural Design Joint Stock Company) achieved Grade B; The join venture of Gmp – IL (Gmp international GmpH-Inros Lackner SE) achieved Grade C. In addition, the join venture of 36 Investment and Construction Group Joint Stock Company – Hanoi Planning Joint Stock Company – VietArchitects Alliance Cor. and the join venture of KUNWON-UAI-ICU (Kunwon Architects planners Engineers – Urban and Architectural Institute - ICU Investment & Consultancy Construction) won the Consolation Grade.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh emphasised that “After having results of the contest, Hanoi city will use as a basis to formulate and complete the construction planning project of offices for ministries, ministerial-level agencies, central agencies of mass organizations in Hanoi capital until year 2030; It is an important basis for the process to prepare investment projects and construct headquarters of central ministries and branches in the West of Tay Ho and Me Tri areas”.
