(Construction) - On August 5, at the Ministry of Construction, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a working section with the delegation of the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Association on the preparation of the National Congress of the National Assembly IX, term 2022 - 2027.

At the meeting, leaders and members of the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Association actively contributed ideas, frankly exchanged many professional issues in the field of construction such as urban and planning management.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi agreed with the operation direction of the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Association in the coming term, and expressed that the Ministry of Construction always wished to strengthen coordination with the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Association as well as specialized associations to listen to suggestions in helping the Ministry better performance its functions and management tasks.

Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi highly appreciated the contributions and results in all aspects of the work of the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Association in recent years, which have contributed to promoting the country's socio-economic development. The positive and effective contributions of the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Association also promoted the development of the construction and the Ministry of Construction.

The Minister suggested that, in the coming time, the Ministry of Construction and Association will further strengthen the coordination and exchange of information in the fields of the industry; At the same time, actively participate in the development of legal documents, scientific research, development of standards as well as strategies of the construction.

Regarding the plan of the IX National Congress, term 2022 - 2027 of the Association, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi said, the Ministry has a specific assignment plan to the Organization Department to agree and coordinate with the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Association.
