Accordingly, GIZ and the Housing and Real Estate Market Administration will coordinate to develop and implement the Vietnam Green Housing Program, aiming to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in low price housing. At the signing ceremony, PEEB Country Program Manager in Vietnam, Mr. Kia Fariborz highly appreciated the important role of the Construction industry to global climate goals.
The Government of Vietnam is particularly concerned about this issue because the market is in great demand but the current supply is limited. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding by the Ministry of Construction and GIZ will contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the housing sector in Vietnam.
