(Construction) - On October 12, Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha had a working section with the new Country Director of the World Bank in Vietnam Carolyn Turk on some cooperation issues between the two sides.

At the meeting, Minister Pham Hong Ha highly appreciated the assistance of the World Bank in Vietnam to the Ministry of Construction. The World Bank's assistance has helped the Ministry of Construction have new conditions and new capacities to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Government of Vietnam. Therefore, the Minister hoped that World Bank will continue to help the Ministry of Construction in the new term of new Director Carolyn Turk.
Responding to the Minister, Director Carolyn Turk affirmed, World Bank will become an important partner to help Vietnam solving urban problems with many difficult challenges.
On this occasion, the new Country Bank Country Director in Vietnam discussed with the Ministry of Construction on some areas of cooperation between the two sides. She expressed that the Ministry of Construction would help to remove difficulties in wastewater treatment projects in Vinh, Phu Quoc and Binh Duong cities.
Basically, the World Bank Country Director agreed with the comments of the Ministry of Construction and will conduct further discussions with each Departments to have a specific implementation plan.
