Minister of Construction receives Secretary General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Algerian community

(Construction) - On May 26, at the Ministry of Construction, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a meeting with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Algerian community Chakib Rachid Kaid and the delegation.

Overview of the meeting.

At the meeting, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi affirmed that the Ministry of Construction always paid attention to promote the traditional cooperative relations between Vietnam and Algeria.

Regarding the upcoming 12th session of the Vietnam - Algeria Intergovernmental Committee, the Ministry of Construction is in the preparation process of the meeting and follow up the meeting scenario draft to get comments from related ministries and organizations. After completion, the Ministry of Construction will send the full draft to the Algerian side through the Embassy. The organizations of the Ministry will closely coordinate with the Embassy of Algeria in Vietnam to complete the preparation and organize the meeting.

Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Algerian community Chakib Rachid Kaid expressed his pleasure to visit and work with the Vietnamese side. Vietnam and Algeria will jointly agree on the organization date and specific contents and fields of cooperation. The Algerian side will also consult with relevant ministries to finalize the contents. The two countries will jointly develop many new areas of cooperation in the future, and further strengthen the good diplomatic relations.

Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi expressed his hope that the Secretary General as well as the Algerian side would cooperate with the Ministry of Construction to promote the preparation for the meeting. At the same time, the two sides will jointly review, evaluate and agree on the content of the meeting and new cooperation contents.

The Minister emphasized that in the context of the 60th anniversary of cooperation and development relationship between the two countries, the well-prepared and successful 12th session of the meeting will affirm the long-term diplomatic relationship between Vietnam and Algeria.
