(Construction) - On September 19, in Hanoi, Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a meeting with Mr. Ishizaka Satoshi - Deputy Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) of Japan and Mr. Hiroto Izumi - Senior Advisor of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) on the contents of strengthening the cooperation relationship between the Ministry of Construction and Japanese partners.

At the reception, Senior Advisor Hiroto Izumi said that Vietnam and Japan had always paid attention to built and developed good traditional relations for many years. In 2023, Japan and Vietnam will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Therefore, through activities organized in the coming time, the relationship between the two countries will have more opportunities to develop.
Senior Advisor Hiroto Izumi emphasized that the Japanese government and business community always identified that Vietnam as the important partner. Over the years, Japanese businesses have had many opportunities to participate in the development of offices, houses, railways and universities in Vietnam. In addition to these favorable factors, in these activities, Japanese enterprises still faced some problems. They wished to be discussed with the Ministry of Construction and find out solutions related to ensuring fire safety for the constructions; shortening the construction permit time...
Speaking at the meeting, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi emphasized that the Ministry of Construction had a good cooperative relationship with Japanese partners in general and with the MLIT in particular. In the coming time, the Ministry of Construction will continue to maintain and promote this strong cooperation relationship.
On the basis of the proposed contents of Japanese enterprises, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi exchanged, supplemented and clarified a number of necessary information, and assigned leaders of specialized units of the Ministry of Construction to further clarify the specific contents proposed by the Japanese representatives.
