(Construction) - On November 25, at the Ministry of Construction, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a meeting with Singapore businesses on the housing development for workers in urban areas.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi highly appreciated the experience shared by Singaporean partners, especially information and experiences on urban planning and industrial park planning according to the new direction, industrial development orientation in the era of Technology Revolution 4.0. The Minister highly appreciated the interest and participation in investment of Singaporean enterprises in Vietnam.
Based on the Singapore requests, the Minister assigned the units under the Ministry to coordinate with the consulting units of Singapore to propose and advise the leaders of the Ministry of Construction in researching and developing the industrial urban model in Vietnam, especially for the Central region, in order to orient appropriate spatial planning for best exploitation of its potentials. Especially, the Ministry of Construction paid special attention to the development of accommodation and houses workers in industrial zones. Therefore, the Minister requested that Singapore side noted this issue for more detail studies.
Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi also suggested that Singaporean partners and businesses actively participate in research and construction of accommodation and dormitories in Vietnam's industrial parks, especially in Singapore's investment in industrial parks in Vietnam.
