Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi receives Mr. Nakagawa Tetsuyuki - General Director of AEONMALL Vietnam

(Construction) - On July 1, 2022, in Hanoi, Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a meeting with Mr. Nakagawa Tetsuyuki - General Director of AEONMALL Vietnam.

At the meeting, Mr. Nakagawa Tetsuyuki reported to Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi the overview of production and business activities of AEON Group in Vietnam. He said that from now to 2025, AEON has set a goal of building and putting into operation 16 trade centers in Vietnam, including AEONMALL Hue.

Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a meeting with Mr. Nakagawa Tetsuyuki - General Director of AEONMALL Vietnam.

Previously, on May 1, 2022, Vice Chairman of Thua Thien - Hue Provincial People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong and General Director of AEONMALL Vietnam Co., Ltd. handed over a document to agree on the approval for AEONMALL Vietnam Co., Ltd. to implement a project of AEONMALL Hue.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi congratulated AEON Group on achieving many positive results in business investment in Vietnam over the past time and plan to expand investment in the near future. For the AEONMALL Hue project, the Ministry of Construction has sent a document to the People's Committee of Thua Thien - Hue province to check and review the project documents to ensure compliance with the provisions of the law on investment, bidding, land, construction, real estate business and other relevant laws.

To ensure compliance with legal regulations, the People's Committee of Thua Thien - Hue province will compare with relevant legal provisions and regulations to consider and settle the request in accordance with the authority and the law.

Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi emphasized that the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam always encouraged, supported and created favorable conditions for people, domestic enterprises as well as international investors, including Japanese investors to invest in business in Vietnam.
