(Construction) - On December 28, the 39th session of the Vietnam - Cuba Intergovernmental Committee was held in the online form, with the co-chair of the Vietnamese Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi and Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Malmierca Diaz, co-chair of Cuba - Vietnam Intergovernmental Committee Rodrigo.

At this meeting, the two sides reviewed cooperation results achieved in 2021 and agreed on cooperation contents in 2022. Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi shared with otherside on the Vietnamese economic and social situation in 2021. Based on the content of the agreed agreement, in 2022, the two sides jointly will continue to promote its cooperation in key priority areas with its strengths that the two sides have the same interest and in need.
Regarding cooperation in the field of construction, the Ministry of Construction of the two countries will increase to share experience in formulating legal policies; creating favorable conditions for businesses of the two sides to effectively implement trade cooperation and construction investment projects in Cuba and Vietnam; creating conditions for Dinvai Company to participate in supervision consultancy projects in construction and traffic in Vietnam.
The two co-chairs of the Vietnam - Cuba Intergovernmental Committee, both affirmed that, with common determination and efforts, the two sides will continue to cooperate closely and effectively implement the cooperation of agreement, making important contributions to promote the socio-economic development in each country, developing comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba.
