After the survey, Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung and the mission noted that the selection of the site for the construction of residential areas, barracks, the Ministry of Defense should assign specialized agencies to choose the suitable location in general construction planning to ensure security and defense factors.
The Deputy Minister of Construction emphasized that when building a house or a project, it is necessary to avoid to build near the water convergence slot and study the construction of embankments to block the flow for large and populous projects; pay more attention to the forecast map of landslide area that need to be included in construction planning documents. The Ministry of Construction affirmed that it is ready to assist the Ministry of Defense units in professional work.
On this occasion, the delegation also donated VND 1 billion to support flood-affected people in Quang Tri province and VND 100 million to share difficulties with the the 337 Economic-Defense Delegation.
