The unit is prefabricated and it can reduce the time of installment. The company said it aims to provide a safe and secure space and help hospitals to concentrate on their medical treatments.

It is usually necessary for construction workers to take extra measures against infection before entering medical facilities which are treating COVID-19 patients. This could result in an increase in the construction cost and could also impose restrictions on medical treatment. The newly developed unit can fit into the elevators in hospitals, and can be delivered ready to be installed. As no construction work is required, the burden on hospital facilities is greatly reduced.

The unit is equipped with retractable casters, which enables medical workers to move it by themselves. Using the adjustment parts attached to the main frame, it is possible to adjust the modular units according to the conditions of each facility with different corridor widths and ceiling heights. The product uses a strong aluminum frame. It is also designed to be used as an interview room or a work space for one person. (2021/02/25)
