(Construction) -Tokyo-based digital consulting firm Development Japan, a subsidiary of Japanese construction company Haseko Corporation is promoting the virtual home showing service that allows customers to visit rooms online.

With the new tool, the staff can show the inside of the room through digital devices such as smart phones, though the conventional web conferencing system was not able to provide the tour besides the sales person describing the property.
The new service "Air-DAM" is a package of the equipment, the system and the manuals necessary for online preview. As the virtual showing can be seen from multiple places at the same time, family members who live in remote places will be able to participate in the tour. Customers can ask questions in real time while comparing with their current home. The usage fee starts from 50,000 yen per month.
Due to the spread of COVID-19, it has become difficult for customers and sales staff to talk face-to-face. By launching the new service, the firm aim to accelerate the condominium sales under the “post-corona virus”environment. (2020/08/03)
