Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just sent a written request to the Ministry of Transport regarding the scale of the project to build Tran Quoc Hoan-Cong Hoa road (Tan Binh district, Ho Chi Minh City) to accelerate the project, synchronizing with the construction progress of T3 Terminal International Airport Tan Son Nhat.
Tran Quoc Hoan-Cong Hoa road project was approved by the City People's Council in December 2019. In February 2020, the Ministry of Transport proposed to Ho Chi Minh City to study a plan to build a road not to encroach into the approved land of Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
On that basis, People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City assigned the Management Board of the investment project to build the city's transport works to complete the project boundary plan to ensure the principle of no encroachment on airport planning land. Up to now, the research has been completed.
