Mr. Nguyen Duc Tho - Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee, Standing Deputy Head of Hai Phong City's Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Rescue, said: In recent years, Hai Phong's anti-corruption work has been implemented very well. In the plan, from 2022 to 2025, Hai Phong will review water supply and drainage points in the area, point out black spots to ensure safety in the rainy seasons. At the same time, it will organize and search drills at sea with modern means. Other contents related to “Four-on-spot” are also being actively implemented.
After discussed with the delegation of Ministry of Construction, the Standing Committee of Hai Phong City noted the exchange of ideas and made recommendations to the National Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Rescue to well perform its works in the rainy and stormy seasons.
After the meeting, the Delegation conducted a field inspection of the technical infrastructure construction investment project of the North Cam River New Urban Area; construction of Hoang Van Thu bridge and the road of Cam river and some potential unsafe locations in the rainy and stormy season of Hai Phong.
