(Construction) - On July 10 in Hanoi, the Ministry of Construction held a meeting to appraise a proposal accepting Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh province as a grade-III city. Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van chaired the meeting.

Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van assessed that the proposal has ensured the order and procedures as stipulated. In general, the opinions of council members were very practical, accurate and objective which highlighting the strengths, achievements as well as limitations and shortcomings of Ky Anh town.
Deputy Minister suggested that in the coming time, Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh province should absorb ideas, exploit potentials and strengths, overcome shortcomings and complete unmet targets; maximize the potentials and advantages of the province, focusing on Vung Ang Economic Zone. In addition, attention should be paid to urban designs, landscapes, environmental areas such as greenery, water surfaces and plans to focus resources for urban development. According to the appraisal council evaluation, Ky Anh town of Ha Tinh province satisfied requirements of a grade-III urban center.
