Construction Newspaper cooperates with JPFI

(Construction) - In the morning of February 10, in Hanoi, the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Construction Newspaper and the Japan Association of Private Financial Initiatives (JPFI) was witnessed by the leaders of Departments and Institutes of Ministry of Construction.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung - Editor-in-chief of Construction Newspaper, said that there are many Vietnamese private enterprises wishing to gain access to JPFI through Construction Newspaper, especially enterprises operating in Vietnam in the fields of urban solid waste treatment, construction materials, human resource training for construction industry, clean water production for urban areas. In addition, the management agencies of the construction industry are also eager to learn from Japanese experience in urban management, traffic congestion issues. Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung hoped that the signing of cooperation between the two sides would bring benefits to businesses and people of the two countries.

Mr. Kazuo Ueda – President of JPFI expressed his thanks to the attention and sharing of the enthusiasm of Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung and summerized that JPFI established in 1999 with having 20-year experience in many fields, including construction with a supporting role in the development and application of JPFI among businesses and ministries.

JPFI is looking forward to sharing its experiences accumulated over the past 20 years in Japan to Vietnamese businesses and government agencies. Currently, there are about 300 Japanese enterprises accompanying JPFI with many experiences and effective operations in the fields of modern and advanced infrastructure development.

Construction Newspaper - the voice of Ministry of Construction, established under Decision No. 901/BXD-TCLĐ of December 11, 1997 of the Minister of Construction which operating under the provisions of the Press Law; The newspaper currently has 2 publications including the printing newspaper, which is published twice a week and the electronic newspaper under the license of the Ministry of Information and Communications. The newspaper is assessed to have done a good job of disseminating policies of the Party, the State laws in the fields of State management of the Ministry of Construction and acting as a bridge for the sector's policy information between the Government, the Ministry of Construction and the people.
