(Construction) - In 2019, the production value of the whole construction industry reach a growth rate of 9.2%. Institutional building, strengthening the effectiveness and efficiency of specialized government management have many important results, thereby contributing to the whole country to complete the socio-economic targets.
These were the contents confirmed by the Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha at the Conference on assessing the performance of tasks in 2019 and set a plan for 2020 which took place on December 27, 2019 in Hanoi.

In 2019, the whole construction industry has made great efforts to perform the tasks of the year plan, achieved many positive changes and important results.
Deploying the tasks and plans in 2020 of the Sector, the Ministry of Construction notes the industry will carry out the main tasks and solutions related to construction and institutional improvement.
The construction industry has surpassed 7/8 key targets, of which the important tasks are to maintain the growth rate and complete the targets assigned by the government; basically complete the national target in housing program, production of construction materials to meet domestic demand and improve business investment environment in construction.

At the end of the Conference, Minister Pham Hong Ha expressed his thanks to the guidance and attention of the government, the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung, the coordination and assistance of other ministries, central branches, local organizations, associations in the country, internationally and people for the Ministry of Construction, helping the Ministry to best fulfill all tasks, roles and functions in 2020 and subsequent years.
