(Construction) - On September 23, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Construction held a workshop to gather comments on the draft Law on Housing (amended) and Law on Real Estate Business (amended).
Many local management agencies, experts, scientists, professional associations and businesses were participated. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh chaired the workshop.

At the workshop, regarding to the draft Law on Housing (amended): the workshop focused on clarifying some issues such as synchronization with relevant laws, reforming administrative procedures to avoid incurred costs; new policies such as the apartment ownership for a limited time; promoting resources including setting aside land fund for housing project development; policies related to the development of social housing and housing for workers; managing and operating the apartment building with problems.
Ragarding to the Law on Real Estate Business (amended), some experts also suggested that the draft Law should supplement regulations related to real estate business to serve the needs of the elderly; establishment of an electronic trading platform...
Also at the workshop, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh expressed his appreciation to the delegates who attended the workshop and contributed many additional comments and clarified specific contents in 2 drafts Laws. He confirmed that the Ministry of Construction would still welcome the comments and continue editing and completing its two draft Laws as soon as possible, as a basis for implementing the following contents and subsequent works in the process of developing these 2 Laws.
